The step feeder receives bunches of wood which are divided into portions in a parallel, even and controlled flow up to the following unscrambler.
The rebuilding means that we dismantle the counterweight and instead brakes the step electrically, which results in a lenient work for the Step Feeder, less wear and a softer walk. As we deliver a feedback unit, the power that is slowed down is sent back online, which also gives some profit on the power consumption.
The rebuilding means that demanding and recurring maintenance work with the counterweight disappears.
It is a simple and quick upgrade that also results in a lower noise level in the plant.
