Renholmen’s packaging extractor is a complement to most types of packaging unwinders, which both facilitates the operator’s work and contributes to a safer working environment. The product enables pulling out the plastic to the correct length and even pre-sealing before the package is in place. Grippers hold the plastic in place, simplifying handling and allowing operation by one operator instead of two. An excellent option for planing mills and sawmills needing to turn complexity into efficiency and simplicity with straightforward means.

Function description
The packaging is laid out and automatically cut to the correct length either in advance or when the package is in place. Grippers hold the plastic while the operator stretches and attaches the opposite end. The plastic is manually released, and the packaging is completed via a push button. The shuttle returns and retrieves packaging for the next package. Control of the packaging type and length is done via a direct signal from the package placer or manually via a push button.
